Egg-cellent!

Today we did an experiment with our boiled egg. Students pretend that the egg was their tooth. We soaked the egg in Root Beer Soda until it turned pretty dirty and then had the children clean their 'tooth'. They brushed, brushed, brushed until their 'tooth' was sparkling clean! They had a lot of fun!

Week of Feb. 15th- 19th

This week we will be learning about the letter "Uu"(practice recognizing the letter, writing the letter, and the sound of the letter) and reviewing the letter "Tt". We will also be learning about Dental Hygiene, Parts of the tooth, and will be doing an experiment with our egg [one hard boiled egg]. Also, as you should still be doing everyday, please continue to practice with your child the letter sounds, alphabet, numbers, colors, & writing their name. If you'd like to work more with your child, practice writing sight words and making sentences with those words.

Snow Day!!

What a beautiful snow day it was today!! The kids loved playing in it for a bit and making snow angels and having snowball fights!! We hope you're enjoying the snow at home and staying warm!

This week...

We will also be learning about Presidents Day and Valentine's Day. We will be doing numerous activities for both holidays we will be learning, so keep a look out for updates! Also, as you should still be doing everyday, please continue to practice with your child the letter sounds, alphabet, numbers, colors, & writing their name.

100th Day of School!!

Today we celebrated the 100th day of school!! Can you believe it?! These next couple of months are going to fly by!! Here are the kiddos painting their 100th day crowns :)
